Sustainable landscapes begin with smart structure. A water system is necessary in our area, as are the right plants for the right place. Well-built, enduring hardscapes using proper materials to support use and work alongside nature are the name of our game.
We offer landscape consultations, audits, design, installation and maintenance.
Herba_CA was founded and is directed by Lauren Caproni. Lauren trained and worked in horticulture, farming, design and landscape construction in the Bay Area and Sonoma County before relocating to the San Gabriel Foothills in 2021.
Prior to entering the landscape design / build world in 2011, Lauren was a respected chef, restauranteur and event producer in San Francisco, Oakland and Marin County. She fell in love with the soil through a chance opportunity, dove into higher education and never looked back.
During her time not in your garden, Lauren can be spotted deep in nature, walking through a gallery, enjoying live music or hanging with her pals drinking tea.
